Upon arrival, we were greeted with delicious cold fruit juice, a refreshing start to our stay. The dining area, located on an upper level with open walls, provided a great vantage point to watch birds and free-roaming elephants. The meals at the lodge were all well prepared and tasteful, and chilled water was readily available upon request. The large canvas tent, covered with a thatch roof, offered comfortable beds and a safe enough environment to leave the front tent flaps open throughout the night. The lodge also had a small area of souvenirs at very reasonable prices. the lodge offers good value with three meals, a real menu that changes every day, and delicious food. The lodge's location is conveniently around 15 minutes by 4x4 from the park entrance. The staff and security were great, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. The restaurant, set in a lovely surrounding, provided a unique experience of sleeping in the middle of the park. The wildlife encounters were breathtaking, with elephants and hippos passing through the lodge at night. The lodge also offers the convenience of working wifi, adding to the overall positive experience. Lastly, the friendly and helpful staff made our stay even more enjoyable.

The room was great! I loved the balcony and private entrance, it made our stay extra special. The seating area was cozy and perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring. Plus, the tile/marble floor added a touch of elegance. it felt like a home away from home.

The only thing I didn't love was the tile/marble floor. It didn't feel as cozy as a carpeted floor, but that's just my personal preference.

The lodge offered a refreshing welcome drink upon arrival, which was a nice gesture. the cottages were beautifully designed and had great showers. the lodge provided delicious meals, ensuring a satisfying dining experience.

I was slightly disappointed with the mix-up in dietary restrictions during dinner on the second night. the staff's overall excellent service overshadowed this minor mistake.

The staff were incredibly warm and friendly, making us feel right at home. The meals provided were generous and delicious, and the restaurant offered stunning views of the surrounding area. We were lucky enough to witness elephants, like our new friend Frankie, roaming near the lodge. Thanks to the attentive staff, our entire family felt safe and well taken care of throughout our stay. Engiri game lodge truly made our family experience unforgettable.

For dads, it would be great to have a designated play area for children.

The twin/double room at Engiri Game Lodge And Campsite is absolutely amazing! The balcony offers stunning views, the seating area is cozy, and the private entrance adds a sense of exclusivity. I felt like a VIP during my stay.

Personally, I found the tile/marble floor in the double room a bit cold for my liking. But hey, everyone's preferences are different, right?

Amazing Experience in Queen Elizabeth National Park

We recently had an incredible stay at a lodge in the heart of Queen Elizabeth National Park. The location was perfect for early morning game drives, giving us the best chance to spot wildlife. The open restaurant added to the safari atmosphere, as we even had the opportunity to see elephants while enjoying our meals.

I keep coming back because Engiri has everything I need. The staff helped with my elderly parents, making my stay stress-free. Free Wi-Fi, parking, 24-hour reception, bar/ lounge, restaurant, picnic area. Can't wait for Easter!

I recently stayed at Engiri Game Lodge in Queen Elizabeth National Park. It was absolutely amazing! The wooden huts were perfect, with hot showers and comfortable beds. The breakfast was delicious and the park was right there, allowing us to see wild animals wandering around at night. The staff were attentive and there was always someone to escort us to the restaurant. There are plenty of nearby activities, including safaris and chimpanzee tracking. Highly recommended!
